Each Smith Brothers piece is hand-cut and hand-assembled, using only the finest kiln-dried maple hardwoods, to satisfy those demanding the best in quality, strength, and durability.

2. Superior Coil Spring Suspension - the Best Available in the Industry!

Under each single-seat cushion is a pre-engineered, heavy-gauge coil spring unit with an elevated front support edge* that ensures individual comfort for each person. All spring connections are insulated to ensure silent operation.

* With the exception of some high-leg or high-skirted styles.

3.Double-Doweled Joints Provide Extra Strength and Durability

All Smith Brothers frame joints are double-doweled to ensure stability. All corners are reinforced with solid maple glue blocks secured by both glue and screws.

Built-in legs are an integral part of our frame construction and increase the durability and life of our furniture.

5. Strong Front and Back Rails

The front and back rails on our furniture are made from 1 1/4" solid maple, providing enduring strength that will extend the useful life of your Smith Brothers furniture.

The front edge on our heavy-gauge coil-spring seating unit greatly increases durability in this high-stress area and provides softer, more comfortable seating for you and your guests.

7.Self-Decking Under Seat Cushions

Self-decking is truly a signature of fine craftsmanship. This feature is included on each of our loose cushion seating pieces, to give a full continuity of fabric pattern- even beneath the cushions.

A 2.5 lb density polyurethane foam, is considered the highest quality foam available in the upholstered furniture industry. Qualux ® Ultra is standard in every seat cushion of Smith Brothers furniture, enabling us to offer a lifetime guarantee against loss of resiliency.

Every back and seat cushion is individually wrapped in luxurious layers of polyester fiber to achieve the perfect contour and comfort level for each frame.
